Getting there

Airport
Ashland, Oregon is the southernmost town along I-5 before you hit California. For those of you who are coming to the wedding via airplane, there are several options. Nearby Medford, OR has a small airport (airport code: MFR). In addition, Eugene (EUG), Sacramento (SMF), Portland (PDX) and San Francisco (SFO) all have large airports that are likely to have cheaper fares and are within a few hours drive.

Rental Cars
Sacramento is about 4 ½ hours away via car; Portland is about 5 hours away by car.

Here are a few rental car sites you might want to consider while in Ashland:

Hotels
Intrepid guests will be able to camp on Holly and Conrad’s farm overnight - just bring your own gear. These two are right in the heart of Ashland:

We have negotiated a group rate with two nearby hotels:

  • Econolodge- Ashland
  • La Quinta Inn- Ashland

The LaQuinta is ~$110/night regardless of the number of beds and the Econolodge ranges from ~$62-$72/night depending on the number of beds. Remember to inform these hotels that you are with the "Couch/Johnson" wedding when making your reservations. Also, book as early as possible. Unreserved rooms for this event will be released to the general public two weeks before the wedding and you will no longer be able to book at the reduced rate.
